He as the film portrays in his own words, changes and starts to get larger than life. He starts to talk the Talk and has never walked the walk before and trying to manage his music aspiration and film taking takes its toll. His ego and new life start to effect him and as the viewers of this film get to see from a behind the scenes view of his demise. He goes through a process of change and we get to witness it first hand, like fingernails down a chalkboard it hurts your ears some of the things that come out of Troy Duffy’s mouth. He starts to believe the hype and you know what they say “Don’t believe the hype”, I was left wondering if he had just directed the movie and not tried to do the music too or vise versa would have been a household name?
